Each Quiet Riot event feels like a mix between a cosy craft night and a creative party. There’s music, colour, and conversation, all centred around making something by hand and connecting with the people around you.
About the Founder
Hi, I’m Amira, the founder of Quiet Riot. I started this project because I’ve always found peace in creating things with my hands, and I wanted to create a space that allows others to experience the same sense of peace.
I’m the kind of person who has more hobbies than I can count, and my endless pursuit to cure my boredom has taught me to love the process of creating just as much as the final result. I believe in making art for art’s sake because the process itself can be just as mesmerising as what you end up with.
I’ve also spent the past five years working in marketing, film, and event production, which shaped how I think about creativity and connection. I’ve learned that the best experiences happen when people feel comfortable enough to experiment and express themselves.
I’ve never been someone who likes to be pretentious about art. To me, “art” can be anything you want it to be; something personal, subjective, and entirely your own. That’s the spirit behind Quiet Riot. It’s a space for people to connect, create, and express themselves freely without worrying about perfection.
